Salt offers atmospheric and delicious moments right next to Porvoo Cathedral, in the heart of the old town. We combine a relaxed atmosphere, high-quality service and handcrafted food, all made from carefully selected, seasonal ingredients. Salt is located in a unique historial setting, where the past and present naturally meet. The restaurant's windows offer beautiful views of the Porvoo River and the idyllic streets of the old town - the environment is perfect for enjoying yourself.
Come for lunch, dinner, or a drink. You can come alone, together, or with a larger group, you arw always welcome. Salt is like your living room in the old town of Porvoo: warm, atmospheric, and full of flavours that make life a little better.

Would you like to start with our skagen, tomato and burrata, or a fresh salad? For main course lightly smoked salmon with crushed new potatoes and lobster bisque, a beef tenderloin with whisky-BBQ sauce and parsnip puree, or perhaps a quinoa "risotto" with roasted zucchini and carrot puree? For sweet tooth a delicious lemon posset with white chocolate ganache and strawberries, a vegan rhubarb pie with soy vanilla ice cream, or house vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and strawberries?
Summer live music Friday's begin
Come enjoy summer evening with good food and drinks to our terrace, while listening to live music. DJ plays at 18-22, other artists at 19-21. More information about the artist on our social media!
